Fire rips through South Boston duplex

The Boston Fire Department reports a two-alarm fire around 8:20 a.m. at 712 E. 5 St. did an estimated $750,000 in damage.
One firefighter suffered a shoulder injury fighting the blaze, which started on the first floor and spread to the second. No residents were injured.

I was listening in this morning to the bfd scanner, I beleive they said it was caused by a dishwasher, there was another fire moments later at 440 E 5th Street. S, Boston.
