1 Main Street on fire

A three-alarm fire broke out shortly before noon on the roof of 1 Main St. in Kendall Square, apparently sparked by an HVAC unit.

Cambridge firefighters got the main body of the fire knocked down by about 12:20 p.m.

Watching the whole thing from Cambridge Center.

Lots of black smoke, it just turned very white which I think means they've knocked it down.
