The Crimson reports on the connection between the weekend death threats and months' worth of more peaceful - but equally ungrammatical - requests for Facebook followers.
maybe hate is too strong a word, between various Asian ethnicities. Asians (in Asia) can be extremely ethnocentric and even xenophobic to a degree and extent not common in a place such as the US. Even in first world countries like Japan (an uber ethnically homogeneous nation) it is legal to discriminate against others (mostly foreigners, mostly other Asians) in many ways, that would be unthinkable in the US, Canada, western Europe, Australia/NZ,etc.
