Harvard's Romanian forests at center of bribery scandal

Apparently the 1,000-year lease on the Arnold Arboretum wasn't enough. The Herald reports Harvard owns nearly 90,000 acres of forestland in Romania and now the guy who sold Harvard some of that land has been implicated in a probe of whether he got the World's Smartest University to pay inflated prices in exchange for cash, a vacation and a Chrysler Sebring.

I've always been fascinated how the reason GM hasn't killed off Buick is because its such a popular brand in China.

Guy wasn't interested in sustainability if he wanted a Chrysler. Actually, I understand that Mercedes Benz recycles old designs as Chrysler models. My General Tire Artimax Arctic snow tires for example are the old Gislavid Norfrost 3 design, and work great.

Mercedes hasn't owned Chrysler since before the economy fell apart, and now the company is busy recycling Fiat van designs.
