Kids, standing around

The folks at the Boston City Archives wonder if you can figure out when and where these kids were photographed. See it larger.

Paul Revere Mall in the North
Paul Revere Mall in the North End?
Now called Paul Revere Mall?
In the North End. I'd say 1920s.
Hmmm
My first reaction was Titus Sparrow Park in the South End. Buildings around the area look familiar.

Brilliant
Stillman Park.
Not the time the other photo was taken, perhaps later.
What happened?
It looks so dumpy now!
Cutillo Park in the North End
Cutillo Park in the North End.. it's now a basketball court. the trees are still there! I'd say 1920s
Mclean Playground
I don't know if this is Mclean Playground in East Boston ( between Bennington and Saratoga Streets) but that wall with the carved arch things is absolutely identical to the one that is still at Mclean to this day. Were those a common thing at one point?
I was gonna guess Paul Revere
I was gonna guess Paul Revere Mall too but it looks a little too big for that plus I don't see the 13 plaques...
The Answer!
Thanks for playing folks! This is a playground on Stillman Street in the North End. It is undated, but based on other photographs in the collection we think it is circa 1915-1923.
We did post a different photo of this playground about a year and a half ago ago. Good job making that connection! (We had forgotten...)
Trees!
They sure did know how to protect saplings back then!
