Police: No evidence of ISIS plans for the T

So remain calm - but also vigilant, Transit Police advise:

The MBTA is aware of the recent report pertaining to alleged subway plots in Europe and elsewhere. We continue to be in close contact with the State Police, the Boston Police, the Boston Office of the FBI and the Transportation Security Administration. There is no information that either the MBTA or Boston is a specific subject of this report. As always, we ask that customers and employees remain vigilant and report any suspicious incidents to the MBTA Transit Police.

I imagine that ISIS took one look at the T and realized that they couldn't improve upon the self-destruction.

I finally installed an analytics widget in my You Tube channel and noticed three jihadist locations among the traffic sources. Morocco, Algeria and Yemen, with another hit from Saudi Arabia.

They may be looking at trail videos of the Cranberry Watershed Preserve in Kingston or something but that Blue Line clip is pretty popular.

I'd hate to have to take it down as rail fans like it, but maybe I should forward it along to the T and the upstream people can sort it out with Google.

I've been getting random hits from the middle east and other far-away places for as long as I've been running web servers -- the mid-1990s. There are a number of factors that might be the result of hits from unexpected places -- sometimes it's related to spoofed or incorrect location lookups, network tunnels, etc. It's also because there are billions of internet users plus millions of bots scrapping content.

Not everyone in the countries listed above are terrorists. I wouldn't think too much about the logs.

..most people there are not terrorists. I don't know if you use Google Analytics but it is a fairly detailed platform.

It is interesting that that particular rail clip is the most popular among a bunch of em that I uploaded. My stuff just isn't that good. http://youtu.be/qixRHVVkTms

When I'm stuck on a train.. I feel like I'm being held captive. You know, like by a crazy transit terrorist but minus the guns. The torture is either how long you can stay crammed in your contorted position squished against someone else OR not barf at whatever lovely aroma you inhale that is in the stagnant air of that subway car OR not going off on a fellow passenger for strollers/music/backpack/smells/BO/annoying.

During the massive Red Line breakdown during Wednesday's PM rush hour, a woman squeezed on at Kendall with one of those massive SUV strollers. Could not believe it.

This is my bus ride daily. Crowed as piss bus, yet mom's with the SUV stroller try to push their way on. Sometimes its more than one. And of course they never move out of the aisle, gotta block the whole damn thing so people can't get by. And of course shelling out dirty looks even if you touch the damn thing and/or ask them to move it.

(can't you tell this JUST happened to me on my way home)
