Political rancor ratchets up at South End bar

Sgt. Luke Taxter at D-4 reports a frank and open exchange of ideas at the bar at Gaslight, 560 Harrison Ave., last night ended with a frank and open exchange of fist:

A political discussion at the bar resulted in the A&B of one patron by another. Victim's glasses the only injury.

That's no religion, politics, or dating/opposite sex/etc. (used to be "women" but then women became officers).

The "edgy" South End is so classy! It was probably not so much a political argument as it was Biff trying to defend Muffy's honor.

Someone insulted her hairband (the one she got at Talbot's!) and then someone insulted Biff's cloth belt with the whales on it (the one he got at J. Crew).

Everything was ok by the time they walked back to the Delta Theta Gamma frat house, i.e., the brownstone Muffy's parents bought them as an engagement gift.

"Sirrrriusly? Sirrrrriusly?" asked a bewildered Muffy.
