Plus, you get a giant lollipop when you arrive, and to commute home, you just have to click your heels together 3 times.

Everything falls apart as it marches east. We'll be lucky if a few showers survive...

Better to be alerted to the possibility of bad weather and have it fall apart in the end, than to have another Armageddon (with a side of tornado) for a morning commute like a few months ago. (Revere??? REALLY?!?!)

Media errs on the side of drama not likelihood and that's the problem.

May have been the media, but I received my heads up from the National Weather Service, as I am a Skywarn spotter. Nighttime storms are just plain dangerous, and I would prefer to be warned too much. I know meteorologists really hope the public pays attention, and doesn't tune out due to "warning fatigue".

Okay, end of lecture.

Even if he's not, you see a concentrated area of wind damage, and what else is it gonna be?

Also note he said a tornado OR microburst MAY have hit. He didn't specify what it was, or even that it was one of those two. Just that it was likely a tornado or a microburst.

Now please unbunch your panties.
