Red Line trash fire bollixes up South Station

WCVB reports a trash fire on the Red Line around 2:30 p.m. was quickly put out by a T employee with a fire extinguisher, but, of course, delays on the Red Line persisted long beyond that, and people on incoming commuter-rail trains also had issues.

At 3:18 p.m., Jenna reported:

MBTA train to Boston from Providence now delayed 25 minutes. Starving passengers searching for the first sacrifice.

If only I were so observant, but, no, I've been reserving rhymes for trains that break down and, occasionally, tracks that crack, because that's kinda whack. But hmm ...
