Katerina's, where Walworth and Beech streets came together at Washington, is gone tonight, its place taken by a backhoe whose operators have been busy the past couple of months digging a large hole in the ground behind it.

What a wonderfully talented, sweet person. I can only guess at what her back story was but I hope the rest of the story is an incredibly happy one!

that little building...
...was arguably the coolest thing in that neighborhood...can't wait to see the "improvement".
