Todd English charged with drunk driving in the Hamptons

Hard-partying celebrity chef Todd English spent part of his Labor Day weekend stewing in the slammer following a drunk-driving bust in Southampton.
The playboy restaurateur was behind the wheel of a decidedly downmarket 2011 Buick when he was pulled over for drifting out of his lane near the historic Shinnecock Hills Golf Club around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, cops said.
English, 54, refused a breathalyzer test on the advice of his lawyer, Brian DeSesa, the sources said.
He was charged with misdemeanor DWI, and his mug shot shows English wearing a blue T-shirt and staring at the camera with glassy, blood-shot eyes, his hair disheveled and a slight stubble on his face.
He was released on $1,500 bail following his arraignment in Hampton Bays.
