Wear High Heels and Men Will Pay Attention to You, Science Reveals

HEY LADIES! We finally have a scientifcally proven method for getting guys to notice us!

All we have to do is wear high heels. That’s according to a study by researchers at the Université de Bretagne-Sud, who gauged how the height of a woman’s heels affected how helpful men and women were to her.

The results, printed in Springer’s Archives of Sexual Behavior journal, documented three experiments, based on interactions with a woman wearing various heel heights and pedestrians in a small French town. In the first experiment, the 19-year-old woman asked men and women to participate in a survey. In the second, she “unknowingly” dropped a glove. Men, in both experiments, were more likely to assist if her heels were higher—women behaved the same regardless of her shoe height.
