I can understand a cyclist slowing down, looking in both directions, and then very slowly inching/rolling through a STOP sign or YIELD sign, although I think that even slowly rolling through a red light can be riskier, especially during the morning and/or late afternoon-evening rushhour(s).

What I don't condone, however, is when a cyclist just simply blows right through a STOP sign, or a red light, or whatever. That, imho, is asking for trouble, imho.

Whether people realize it or not, bicycles are also vehicles, and the cyclists, too, are subject to rules of the road.
