World's tallest menorah made out of lobster traps rises in Gloucester

UPDATE: They light the menorah Tuesday evening.

And, yes, they know lobster isn't kosher:

That’s why there are no lobsters in any of the pots and no one is eating the menorah so get over yourself Smugly McLeviticus.

Also, the menorah is 20 feet tall:

Temple Ahavat Achim now beats the White Rock South Surrey Jewish Community Centre of Vancouver for the largest single piece of Hanukkah kitch. Their 4’4” freestanding dreidel got nothing on us!

I really enjoy the snarky writing style of the Glouchester Clam. Reminds me a lot of bikesnobnyc.

A -Man , it looks similar to the one I camera'd on Town Wharf Plymouth , made by the lobstermen , with a lobster on top. Here is the link again , I don't know how to make it just appear. The light that appears on top is just one of the dock lights ,I didn't shrewdly shoot it that way. I guess my God does take care of dummies in all sorts of ways....
