Someone decided to lock their bike to my cast-iron fence on trash day. I went down to the basement, grabbed bolt cutters, cut their lock and stuffed the bike in one of my trash cans. It was gone a hr latter, by the owner? No idea!

Ommegang is releasing a new brew called Fire and Blood on March 31. It is based on the Targaryen dragons.

Saloon hosted a release party for Ommegang last night: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/saloon-hosts-brewery-ommegangs-new-game-of-...

This is the only East Coast launch event for Fire & Blood to feature the life-size replica Iron Throne so join Brewery Ommegang for a taste of the hottest beer (not yet) on the market, strike your best royal pose, and celebrate the most anticipated season premiere of 2014, the return of Game of Thrones on April 6 at 9pm.

So ... they have to get it down those stairs. Hmmm.

This is a job for either Deathwish or Gentle Giant!

They couldn't get the throne downstairs so it was set up in a back room of Foundry.

I thought Davis Sq Theatre was handicap-accessible, and it's in the same basement as Saloon. I could be remembering wrong.

That's just what they told me when I asked why it wasn't in the bar, they couldn't fit it downstairs.

There may be an elevator, but it might not be big enough to handle that. No idea what the weight is, either.

Why do I always find out about these things after the fact?

Ommegang is releasing a new brew called Fire and Blood on March 31. It is based on the Targaryen dragons.

Where did they find Targaryen dragons to grind up and add to the water, malt, yeast, and hops? Even if they did find a supply, isn't handling them a challenge? Where are the protests over such abuse of endangered creatures?

Oh, and I don't get the throne attraction. Who want's their picture sitting on it? It just screams: "I'm a twisted little prick"

You don't need to make it from real dragons. You can make it from pigshit.
