ADD TO : Charles River Trolley again and looking like it just rounded the bend on South Street onto Belgrade Avenue. To the left is where the Charles River Bus stop is today.

But surely you are correct as to the most likely destination of that trolley car.
Curiously, if you Google "Oakdale Massachusetts", there are several places associated with that name — West Boylston and Holyoke seem to have the most references:
