Braintree man learns lobby of Red Line station not best place to remove security tags from stolen clothing

Because if you do that, a police officer might get curious and amble over to see what you're up to.

Transit Police report arresting Ryan Ross, 30, on a charge of receiving stolen property worth more than $250 around 9:15 p.m. yesterday after officers on patrol noticed him doing just that in the lobby of the Braintree Red Line stop:

Officers approached Ross to further investigate and subsequently discovered Ross was in possession of just over 2,000 dollars worth of stolen clothing. A preliminary investigation suggests the items were stolen from local area businesses.

Innocent, etc.
