By adamg on Tue, 12/08/2015 - 5:45am
Stanley Staco reports authorities found the body around 1:30 a.m. under the Milton side of the Blue Hill Avenue bridge over the Neponset.
WFXT reports the Norfolk County District Attorney's office does not consider the fire a criminal act at this point.
On Nov. 28, Boston firefighters found a body inside a burning car in Mattapan.

Blue Hill Ave Bridge
Is this the location of the new bike path connected to the mattapan historic trolley stop?
Don't think so
It's the old bridge you drive over to get from Mattapan to Milton.
The bike path currently
The bike path currently follows the Truman Highway from Neponset Valley Parkway, then follows Brush Hill Road to the Blue Hill Ave bridge. Right now, there is a gap from Blue Hill Ave to Central Ave in Milton. When the new section opens, users will cross the river on the Blue Hill Ave bridge, then pick up the trail again right next to Mattapan station. The new 1.3 mile trail will follow the Boston side of the river bank about halfway to Central Ave, then cross to the Milton side on a new foot bridge.

Is this something new? There
Is this something new? There was also the woman's body found on the train tracks a few weeks back. Is this just a fluke, some sort of confirmation bias, or is it becoming "the way" criminals try to dispose of bodies?
It's not criminal ...
If it's self inflicted or an accident.
Self-immolation? Copy-cat?
Such protests by monks are more public. It could be like the (accidental? /drug infused) one by comedian Richard Prior. I just heard that one of the recent murders involving a burned body had the victim burned alive. Horrible.
Accidental
Seems he died from a fire set to keep warm.
well that is sad
