By adamg on Fri, 09/25/2015 - 4:38pm
Antwan Gonsalves, 33, was arraigned today for the fatal stabbing of Tywann Jones of Roxbury in Central Square, Cambridge Police report.
Cambridge District Court Judge Michele Hogan set bail at $7.5 million. Gonsalves is next due in court on Nov. 4.
The Middlesex County District Attorney's office credited tips from the public and help from State Police in apprehending Gonsalves. Surveillance video from the area of Mass. Ave. also proved helpful, police say.
Innocent, etc.

Why $7.5M bail and not $1M bail?
Seems new and unusual/excessive when $1M would be just as effective. Does everything have to cost more in Cambridge?
And Bella's killer mom gets 1
And Bella's killer mom gets 1 mill. Proof the system in MA is senseless
In practical terms, what difference does it make?
She's not going to raise it.
But perhaps you forgot she's charged as an accessory after the fact. Her boyfriend, who was charged with murder, was held without bail.
Weird
In Suffolk County, he would've been held without bail.
