Good, the women of Boston will be safer for it. Hopefully he is not staying locally.

How would the women of Boston be safer for the man not performing?

How convenient.

probably due to the weather, but 300-plus Bostonians were signed up and ready to protest the show.

Of anything at all, related to assault and rape? If not, why not, assuming it's a slam dunk? Give the guy his day in a court of law, don't lynch him.

Either one celebrity is lying, or there's a conspiracy of 34* women who are lying. Cosby's motives for lying are easy: stay out of jail. What are the women's motives?

Legally, yes you are right. We shouldn't take someone's freedom away lightly, and he has a right to a trial, the same as anyone else.

But do you trust him? I certainly don't.

Here's a reality check for you. Cosby's lawyer is Marty Singer, a disgusting human being who likes to bully people in court for the benefit of many of his sexual deviant celebrity clients.

If Cosby was truly innocent, Singer would have gone after Hannibal Burress, the black comedian who got the ball rolling by calling Cosby a rapist on stage.

If he walks like a duck and is accused of rape by 34 women like... a... you get the point.

But sure, it could all be a conspiracy. Just like the how measles vaccine is full of autism and meth addiction.

I would be ecstatic if Cosby had his day in court, so w could finally see this entire matter resolved.

However, that is not the universe we live in. With only between 5%-10% of reported rapes resulting in actual arrests, and an even smaller percentage leading to actual convictions and jail time, the simple truth is that the law and court are pretty much where reposts turn to to get off Scott free.

Which is why the whole "guilty until proven guilty" and "court of the people" aren't even relevant to this conversation. Not only is the court not even really involved, but assuming Cosby is a rapist and a monster (and let's face it, the odds are very high), Cosby is never going to see a day of jail time. The most he will get is a failed comeback attempt. If you ask me, that sounds like a slap on the wrist.

Yeah, because rape accusations from 30-40 years ago with no independent witnesses are a slam fucking dunk. What's the weather like on your planet?

You might note that in the one case of a woman who sued him in the last ~10 years, he settled out of court, and his lawyer has subsequently bent over backwards to point out that Cosby's blanket denials of wrongdoing do not apply in any way to that one particular case.

Why would you even still go see this rapist he's a creep. Hopefully there's no drinks being served at his shows

This almost makes the 5 feet of snow in the past month worth it. Mr. Cosby needs to just leave Boston and never come back.
