John Gage shows us the front of his local Lowe's today.
Oh Danny boy, the snow, the snow will soon be falling
From Home Depot to Lowe's and down to Boston's side
The summer's gone and all the taxes waived for signing
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and get the snow blower I must buy
But get ye back while summer's still in the meadow
Before the city's streets are hushed and white with snow
And I'll be here in sunshine and in shadow, with the dough.
Oh Danny boy, get me that snow blower and I'll love you so
Winter is coming.
Mind you, they don't have the one I need, but I do have to replace the snowblower that died at the end of march.
(Those things look huge! I couldn't fit it between my cars, let alone down my sidewalk.)
Best commercial ever. :)
Those kids probably have their own kids now!
about how old we're all getting. :)
It's weird to realize that there's now more distance between Kurt Cobain's suicide (1994) and today, than there was between the British Invasion (1964) and when I graduated high school (1984).
