Man in a mask

Kevin Connolly checks in:

When I bought this for $2 on eBay everyone laughed. Who's laughing now?

Pretty sure my husband had the same idea as Kevin, buying something that looks remarkably like that off some internet site for a dollar or two.

Apparently reviews were mixed between "This is the best dollar I've ever spent!" and "This mask smells strongly of gasoline".

I've seen other pictures posted today of guys wearing similar masks......they were State & Transit cops on motorcycles!! How cold is it in that car?!

Last year these were all sold out at City Sports and misc locations, good to know that a cheapo knockoff can be found online.

Standing in line at a bank wearing one of these things?

I have seen signs at banks asking that people remove hats and sunglasses before entering .

actually seen tellers refuse to service customers who fail to comply with the sign.

I don't think that's part of the job of a teller, but depending on the transaction, I think ability to identify someone is essential.

I have gone into banks when wearing my "baklava". They can generally be pulled down off the face or even down into a neck gator if you don't want to take it off.

I consider this to be a stress-reduction courtesy to the bank employees if nothing else.

I just took my Boston Braves hat off at the door , didnt want to freak out the tellers and take a chance of getting shot in the head.

I was amazed at the number of people, mostly younger women, who weren't wearing hats or had hooded jackets.

I wear a hard hat liner , looks like a Rocky the Flying Squirrel hat. What are the chances a young lady would wear something like that ? Even as I type , Kim K on the news7 points out the lads working on a water line break , ouch. That's cold stuff.

Bonus though, you can totally go as Sub Zero (or Scorpion!) for Halloween this year with a mask like that!

...in my boot bag. Of course they all smelled like rotting death this morning since I forgot to clean my bag out when I went skiing a couple weeks ago.

Mine was in an old pannier and pretty nasty, so I quickly hand washed it and tossed it in the dryer with my coat and pants.

Twenty minutes later it was dry and my coat and pants were warm, too.

Poor guy he may have been burnt or born with cleft lip. It really gets me pissed, our society is a cruel one that this man would rather have to cover his face and that device does not look comfortable. In past few months or so I have actually seen a few people wearing similar devices. IF PEOPLE WERE NOT SO DAM CRUEL this man's life would be a lot more comfortable. God bless Kevin stay strong and no matter what people please remember we all bleed red. Except for full blooded Indians I believe.
