Cambridge ice bar

Not long after we heard about the Roslindale ice bar, Booze Epoque alerted us to this ice bar in Cambridgeport.

People with open containers of alcohol on the street? Hasn't the snow already caused enough problems?

Next thing you know there'll be unlicensed dancing, and society as we know it will have ended.

Look out for drones fanning the neighborhood there looking to find out who has an ice bar out in front of their homes (Drinking in public is a no, no.) in boston neighborhoods.

I vote for year-round ice bars. The ABC wouldn't have a problem, would they?

People having fun.

We can't have that, can we?

Do you have a permit?

I wonder how Frost in Faneuil Hall is doing these days. ( http://www.frosticebar.com/ )

I went there last Feb actually. It was dead (of course), laughably expensive and essentially just a cold room with ice sculptures. Very unimpressive overall.

Then get tossed out after 45 mins.

But how do I invite those cute women?

Before the Cambridge fun police get involved, this was a social gathering entirely contained within a front yard. That didn't stop at least one neighbor from some amount of pearl clutching.

I don't understand the need to post about it on Twitter, if someone wants to keep this on the DL.

Looks like fun, but who brought the Fernet? If you think that crap tastes good, you are trying way too hard to be cool. But, those hipsters love that irony...

You watch your mouth. This "hipster/irony" shit has to stop.

Fernet is great and has been forever. Fernet and coke is even the national cocktail of Argentina, even. Top a shot of it with Moxie and you have a fantastic herbal concoction even.

It's also a bartender's treat, since it's rarely requested.
