Iowa man faces up to five years in prison after admitting he threatened a Boston mosque online

An Iowa man pleaded guilty yesterday to a federal charge of threatening the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center over Facebook, the US Attorney's office reports.

Gerald Wayne Ledford was arrested in June in Iowa after FBI agents traced a threatening photo on the mosque's Facebook page to him.

He is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 15.
