Josh Zakim proposes four nonbinding Olympics-related ballot questions

WBUR:

Councilor Josh Zakim said Monday that he’s filed an order for four nonbinding Olympics-related ballot questions. He plans to present the order to the full city council on Wednesday.

The questions would ask if the city
- should host the games;
- if any public money should be used;
- if the city should promise to cover any overruns; and
- if the city should use eminent domain to take private land for the games.

To appear on the ballot, the questions would require a majority vote of the city council and the approval of Mayor Martin Walsh.
