That was my experience at Mission Hill stop and shop around 2pm but I waited less than two minutes in line at the wegmans wine shop at 3pm! Bring on the blizzard, I am prepared with bread, milk, and wine. I forgot the eggs.
Star Market in Cambridge
Was open til midnight on Monday. I stopped there at 11 : 45 pm after work, and they had plenty of eggs, bread, milk and Gatorade.
Store was nearly empty of people by 10 pm
when I briefly stopped there during a walk from Harvard Square back to Davis.

A booze with a view!
Yes - when that reopened as a Walgreens, they packed a small packy up in the mezzanine.
Very cute place with some solid, middle of the road choices. I don't usually go there (BWX on Devonshire is closer and, well, stellar), but it is a handy urban feature.
DTX Walgreen's
They could have done so much more with that DTX Walgreens. It's almost like a convenience store. There are massive amounts of wasted space. What a missed opportunity.
