A note that raises more questions than it answers
By adamg on Mon, 02/23/2015 - 4:53pm
Shamus Moynihan spotted this note on a car on Bynner Street in Jamaica Plain today, and now we're just filled with questions:
What if the driver evacuates the space but doesn't return the gallon jug? What kind of jug was it that it's worth wanting back? And given that it's now approaching 5 p.m., what happened at 4?

Water Gallon
Should we all go and see what happens?
Get there before 6:30!
Get there before 6:30 and have a specially reserved front row seat (seats taken from the space savers around the area) of the resulting chaos!
Someone should do an analysis
On the effectiveness of these letters. I'm pretty sure their only purpose is to make the author feel good about themselves. I can't ever think of a situation where the letter accomplishes anything to rectify the situation.
Please return our public property
... and stop littering!
"feel free to use this spot..."
and please leave by 4...?
In terms of space saving etiquette (and that discussion aside), this is a pretty welll intentioned note.
Neat... :)
Junkies
steal the 5 gallon Poland Springs bottles and get $5 deposit back. I think this is what they are talking about.
