Police vow no quarter in hunt for man who hit jackpot at Quincy car wash

Quincy Police are hoping somebody will drop a dime on the guy they say made off with an estimated 1,600 quarters from a change machine at the Hancock Street Car Wash last Tuesday.

Surveillance video of the incident begins at 22:00hrs on 09/01/2015 shows a male suspect walk to the coin machine with a pair of pliers and is seen tampering with the coin machine. The video then shows the suspect remove a number of quarters from the dispenser at this time. The suspect then reappears in the video at 22:13hrs and again tampers with the machine, the suspect is seen using his t-shirt to catch the falling quarters from the machine, at one point in the video shows the suspect turn towards the surveillance camera and speak to the camera while holding a handful of quarters.

He's described as white, possibly of Middle Eastern descent, in his 20s, with short dark hair and a long beard. He wore glasses, a long, white, oversized T-shirt turned inside out, light brown cargo shorts and blue Nike sneakers.
