Last month it was a stabbing at a late night party in an illegal space in their property at 568 Blue Hill Avenue. When are we gong to deal with these guys as the slumlords they really are!?

Way back in the '90s, "Big Chis" Stamatos was my first JP landlord. He was... less than helpful when things broke. Even though he owned a hardware store across the street.

Between the YMCA, the High School and Mendell Elementary School can't they arrest people for dealing drugs near a school zone? I wonder how many other problem properties this guy owns.

And the Hernandez is right there too. That's three schools and a YMCA all within a two minute walk. Heck, one minute walk, if you quicken your step.

from the JP News article: "a violation was issued against the property owner when it was discovered that five unrelated people not on the lease were living at that apartment.:

Isn't that illegal only if the five unrelated people are undergraduate college students?

Something to do with how the apartment was being paid for; section 8. If one person is qualified and receiving taxpayer funded housing why are 4 additional people who possibly dont qualify taking advantage of said benefit.

The one individual who was leasing the apartment with your taxes was probably charging rent to the addition 4 individuals. So not only are they receiving free housing they 're making money off your hard earned cash.

Its a frequent scam!

The AirBnB of benefit fraud.

I think the key is the "not on the lease" part.
