Roads still slippery
By adamg on Mon, 02/16/2015 - 9:21am
Ryan Hamilton Walsh's trip to the airport this morning went more slowly than he expected due to delays caused when a truck overturned in the slush on I-93 at the entrance to the tunnel just past the Zakim.
Walsh reports the driver clambered out OK - as you can see above. The truck, however, was not going to be going anywhere anytime soon.

No fancy food for you! Glad
No fancy food for you! Glad the driver seems OK.
It's pretty bad out there.
I just drove into work from Cambridge. Most of Mem drive east-bound is down a lane, and the side roads are pretty slippery. Even the BU bridge rotary is far from clear.
Between further reductions in road capacity, slippery streets, and the non-functional MBTA, tomorrow is going to be a commuting sh*tshow. The only saving grace is that it's a school holiday week.
Stay safe out there!
School holiday week?
They have been out almost the entire month!
Arg!
Good point!
