Roxbury man, pal, charged with killing escort in suburban hotel after robbing another

Derrell Fisher, 21 of Roxbury, and Epshod Jeune, 24, of Burlington, were arraigned on murder charges today for the death of a Bronx, NY woman in a Burlington hotel last week, the Middlesex County District Attorney's office reports.

Prosecutors charge the two killed Sanisha Johnson, 34, in a robbery attempt after successfully robbing another escort at a hotel in Woburn. Prosecutors say the two found Johnson through backpage.com, a site used by prostitutes to solicit business.

Authorities are now looking into whether the two targeted other sex workers.

The two were ordered held without bail at their arraignment hearing.

only that this is the vilest, most depressing post I've read here in a long time. How lowdown to you have to be to rob women who are already having to sell themselves?

Adam, it's disconcerting that you led with Roxbury man, and not Burlington man, or Massachusetts men.

Yeah, I cover stuff that happens elsewhere, but the fact that he's a local man is why I made a point of writing about this - because Roxbury's local to me and this site. I don't normally write about drunk-driving charges in Maine, either - unless the suspect is from Charlestown.
