For second time in two days, police subdue allegedly crazed man with a knife in Dorchester - without gunfire

This time, it was a guy allegedly marching down Talbot Avenue with a large knife early Monday who tried committing suicide by cop, the Dorchester Reporter reports. He was taken to Carney Hospital.

Appropriate violence
Rather than shoot someone with a 9 mm, subdue them with a beanbag. Professional and appropriate response by police. Good job. That's the way to do this sort of thing. Thank you Boston Police.
No bean bags on second one
Actually, the second incident did not include a bean bad shotgun, according to this story. Instead one cop tackled the guy when he was distracted by a second cop, a sergeant.
