And that altered the route for the #80 bus, which usually picks up a lot of people on Pearl Street. This morning, we didn't see any of them make the corner with McGrath, but I wonder if they got the word about the change.

And the alert for the 80 bus on the T's web site does not even mention the Pearl St. stops as being affected - it mentions a bunch of Medford St. stops, some of which are on a different Medford St. in Arlington (!). So the alert is not helpful at all. I'm guessing the bus goes down Central St. to Highland, then to McGrath.

No, down School St. to Broadway and then right on McGrath. By going that route, there is the chance to catch riders at the stop at the end of Pearl Street.

I normally take the 80 and it was definitely not going down Pearl St this morning. Police had it blocked from Medford to Walnut with cars and barricades. I was able to catch the 80 up at Walnut and Highland where the 88 usually stops. I think they are detouring up School then down Highland and picking up the regular route on McGrath.
