Bertie the stubby-tailed cat lost in Roslindale

Chris Kollett forwards a copy of a flier that went up around Roslindale recently.

Daisy Razor reports a black cat has been hanging around her yard near the West Roxbury quarry of late.

There are black cats everywhere in this neighborhood running free. Saw a litter of three black kittens last week running across Arborough street toward the apartments. It's time to call in the humane society and trap and sterilize once again. I hope Bertie is found and then Bertie's companion retraces his/her steps and takes down all the flyers taped to numerous poles.

Good to know that Bertie may still be with us. I am Bertie's human and will absolutely remove all flyers once Bertie is found! Thanks so much for the tip about Arborough Road. There's no way that Bertie is the daddy, but maybe he is palling around with other black kitties there. Thanks so much for the tip.

We saw one walking on Florence St near Firth Rd yesterday. Didn't catch the eye color from a distance. Hope you find him!
