They made tracks

Tracks in North Point Park

JB Parrett didn't have to worry about oncoming trains as he stood where the actual train tracks used to be in North Point Park on the Cambridge side of the Charles.

Very cool, not only as an historic artifact, but also as a park visual installation. What would be really interesting, if a bit depressing, would be painted tracks along every street that once had a street car line. It would probably startle quite a few people to see how extensive that network once was.
