Track fire shuts Orange Line, things were anything but anodyne

UPDATE: The MBTA reported at 7:19 p.m. that service had resumed.

Sean Olson reports an electrical fire in the tunnel near Chinatown station shut the Orange Line shortly before 6 p.m. The Boston Fire Department made quick work of the fire and let the T restore power at 6:19 p.m. , although the T was still reporting service was knocked out between Back Bay and North Station at 6:40 p.m.
