Trolley derails at Lechmere; riders probably too hot to jeer

Brendan Kearney reports he'd just gotten off a trolley at Lechmere when the trolley failed to navigate the curve to turn around and came a bit off the tracks. The T is now busing passengers.

were named after Lechmere Square. And Lechmere Sales is an early example of why cloning yourself into a gazillion locations in a very short time span usually turns out bad.

explains why my bus never came last night

Well, that might explain why the Lechmere-Harvard bus I and others were waiting for for 50 minutes in the heat last night didn't arrive. They must've diverted buses from that route. Mbta.com had no bus alert about it, of course.
