Two-alarm fire erupts on Dorchester apartment-building roof

A fire called in around 4:05 p.m. did an estimated $50,000 in damage to a 16-unit apartment building at 137 Columbia Rd., the Boston Fire Department reports.

The department says the cause of the fire remains under investigation. There were no injuries; three people were displaced.
