Alleged fapper nabbed after show at Back Bay T stop

Transit Police report arresting a Roslindale resident they say dropped trou and began some knob polishing in the men's room at Back Bay station while another man was just trying to micturate around 2:30 p.m. yesterday.

Neville Pinnock, 66, was charged with open and gross lewdness after the other man left and found an officer, who entered the men's room to find Pinnock still there, police say.

Last month, police arrested a man they say insisted on using a sink in the women's room at the station as a urinal.

Innocent, etc.

The transit police have a thankless job between dealing with deviants who polish their knobs and drug addicts who shoot up and overdose in their restrooms. I'm sure they don't get much support from the court system but as a father whose children sometimes have to use these restrooms thank you for your efforts.

It's not just the perverts and druggies, but this men's room is filthy. It smells bad, and there's always lots of toilet paper and trash on the floor, unflushed toilets, and general filth everywhere. South Station's mens room on the other hand is far busier, but also generally clean.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Back Bay relies on MBTA janitors and South Station does not.

My guess would be that both are cleaned by the MBTA as well.

The T basically handed over management of the non-train section of South Station to a private company years ago (they're the ones who built and maintain the food court, for example). I think that might be in the works for Back Bay if that giant stack of looseleaf binders gets built, but for now, it's still under direct T control.

If possible I'd highly recommend walking across the street.

Copley Mall is another. Along with the Pru Mall (near the BSC/FitCorp entrance) if you're willing to walk a bit further for a cleaner bathroom.

There's also the Copley Place Sheraton before the pedestrian bridge to Pru mall. (I'm partial to hotel bathrooms- they're always well maintained.)

I suggested Westin b/c I figured it was closest spot a non-customer wouldn't have to ask permission. Proximity may be an issue with poster's kids.

one of these days I am going to get off my ass and start a yelp-like site for bathrooms! I think it would be most helpful for people to know 'where to go'

Now if I could only find a CMS I liked...

You don't have to go very far to find out where to go:

Is this a Benny Hill skit?

Any activity that involves heavy breathing should be discouraged at Back Bay. The station *still* is full of locomotive exhaust fumes.
