I can hear and see a helicopter circling around the area. Anybody know if this woman is being airlifted out or is this some sort of local news reporting?

Also covering pedestrian injury + several cars crashed near Tremont and Beacon.

It's scary out there. I hope she recovers as fast as possible.

Assuming she's currently sedated the people in the most pain right now are her family and friends.

There's about a 1/4 mile (approx) between the crosswalk at beech and the Westie pkwy; people fly going down wash because the light at beech is so short and pedestrians cross between both because of the buss stops, laundry mat, food, housing and liquor stores located between both.

Hoping this individual pulls through. And the person hit in town. Godspeed!

I was really worried about the helicopter. Thank you for posting. I hope she is ok! So close to my house!

Firstly I pray this woman recovers.

I do think the city lost an opportunity for intersection and road improvements .
Over the last 5-6years the Washington - Beech projects were remade, and the CVS property was renovated from the old Rite Aid. That was the city's chance to improve the road. Widen it, and add traffic calming measures like a center median.

I agree generally with your sentiments but widening the road is the exact opposite of a traffic calming measure.
