Brookline says it's nabbed the HVAC robber - who has an actual background in HVAC
Brookline Police report arresting a 32-year-old Duxbury man they say robbed numerous area businesses after gaining entrance by pretending to be there to fix their heating systems.
The subject walks into a business and ask to inspect the HVAC system or thermostats. The subject would gain access to back rooms where employees would store personal property.
WBZ reports the guy, Anthony Binsfield, was arrested for the same thing in Cohasset last year - and that he is a former for-real HVAC guy.
In Brookline, the guy pulled the stunt at least seven times at businesses in Coolidge Corner and along Boylston Street, police say.
He's also wanted for up to 20 similar heists in downtown Boston and the Back Bay, including at least one Suffolk University building.
Innocent, etc.

Dam those Duxbury criminals they probably can't afford to live in Dorchester anymore.

A skilled HVAC tech could be making some good money and enjoying a pretty good life. Sad.
