Man murdered at Hailey Apartments was grandson of woman for whom project is named

Boston Police report the man shot to death at 267 Centre St. last Tuesday was Nigel Louis Hailey, 42, of Columbus, OH.

Hailey was the grandson of Mildred C. Hailey, a tenant leader at the former Bromley-Heath for whom the development was renamed after her death last fall, the Herald reports..

Nigel Hailey leaves four children.

A while back, Mildred Hailey's grandsons were videotaped in a drug deal inside her apartment. I don't know if anything happened to them, but nothing happened to her (she stayed living there), even though the rule was that if any family member did something illegal, the whole family had to leave. I wonder if this is one of the grandsons.
