Resident suffers burns in Hyde Park house fire

A fire at 115 Gordon Ave. sent one resident to the hospital with burns, the Boston Fire Department reports, adding his injuries are not considered life threatening.

A firefighter was also taken to the hospital for observation.

Firefighters responded at 9:36 p.m. to the fire, which started on the first floor, then spread to the second.

The department estimates damage at $300,000 and says the cause is under investigation.
