Major West Roxbury road shut as large tree hurtles to the ground

If you're avoiding those stern warnings to stay off the roads, you might want to avoid Lagrange Street in West Roxbury, where a major tree decided to obey the law of gravity in the area of Loyola Circle. And if it had to go down, you know it was going to take wires down with it.

Just saw a bulldozer knock his plow into our tree and cause a large limb to come down right onto the sidewalk on Belgrade. This is way too big for us to move ourselves/cut into manageable size by a hand saw. Does anyone know if the city will take a limb away if we can haul it to where our garbage is picked up?
