Man charged as armed home invader for Dorchester incident that ended with another man dead in a shootout with police
UPDATE: Ordered held in lieu of $1 million bail, Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Boston Police report Robert Williams, 31, of Dorchester, on charges related to a February armed home invasion they say ended with a shootout that left his alleged accomplice dead.
Police report finding Williams at 824 Blue Hill Ave. this morning and arresting him on charges of armed home invasion, unlawful possession of a firearm and assault and battery on a police officer.
According to police, Williams and Peter Fanfan burst into a home on Devon Street on Feb. 12, only to get into a gun battle in the apartment. As they fled, they were confronted by police officers; police say Fanfan opened fire first.
