Man who seems to like to steal cars kicks it up a notch and steals an ambulance, police say

Cambridge Police report arresting a local homeless man on charges he stole an ambulance from Cambridge Hospital Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Everett Goss, 48, who listed the Albany Street Shelter for his address, hopped into a Pro Ambulance shortly after 5 p.m. An officer spotted him on Third Street near McGrath Highway and maneuvered his cruiser in front of the ambulance. Goss came to a stop, but when the officer told him to put the ambulance in park and turn off the engine, Goss tried, but had some trouble and so the ambulance smacked into the cruiser, police say.

Goss was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and operating without a license, police say.

In 2014, Goss was charged with stealing an SUV and promptly crashing it into a pillar.

In 2015, he was arrested in Somerville on a charge of larceny of a motor vehicle.

On June 16 of this year, he was charged with running at a store clerk on Cambridge Street with a pair of scissor.

Innocent, etc.
