State law requires all Massachusetts media outlets to get at least one pun in every headline about legalized marijuana

I mean if we're going to re-write the law so the state can get a bigger cut of the taxes, we should make sure that towns that say "no" to cannabis shops are also saying "no" to the tax revenues.

I agree. Towns that ban shops should NOT be allowed to take part in the additional revenue. NIMBY's who push shops out of their town have zero right to the revenue. Why should the towns who allow shops allow the tax money raised from them to leave their town?

If it contains slightly less than 6 members, they could call themselves the "High Five".

As long as they weed out the people with a conflict of interest.

I can't imagine AG Sessions letting this law stand long enough for our politicians to even figure out which order to line up in with their hands out

States rights, etc. Plenty of Trump supporters want to be left alone on this too.

I answered your post in the last "legal pot" post and "shared my wisdom." Dunno if you caught that but much of my response relates to this one. You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders so you should know by now that "state's rights" only applies to:
1) the ability for states to ban abortions
2) The ability for states to allow the purchase of tanks, rocket launchers, and chopper mounted sub machine guns
3) the ability for states to ban gay marriage, marriage to pets, and interracial marriage
4) the ability for states to fly the confederate flag on state property
5) the ability for states to ban or harshly punish the demon weed and other illicit drugs

All other "rights" of states, or views opposite of those above are patently wrong and are in fact NOT the rights of states themselves to decide.

This AG firmly believes in "family values" (which means he probably meets with teenage boys in the rough part of DC on the weekends) so he sure as shit isn't gonna let some demon weed shops pop up in your neighborhood so kids can start buying the pot needles and ODing.

Sessions and Trump lately have been big on Federalism and allowing states to decide on some hot button issues.I don't think the DOJ is going to make pot a priority unless it is crossing borders.
