Pebbles and Ramiro reunited at last

Greater Media announced today that Ramiro Torres is moving to Hot 96.9 - where he will rejoin Pebbles on the morning show. The two last worked together at Jam'n 94.5, where owner Clear Channel ditched Pebbles in 2012; then Ramiro last summer.

Torres, a.k.a. "the freakin' Puerto Rican," has been on the air locally for some 20 years.

what of Melissa and Wiggy? I mean, Melissa is terrible and adds nothing, but I hope Wiggy stays. Also, I get a good laugh fom the 2nd date update everyday, so I'm hoping they keep that goin!

I love how 94.5 just threw away all their loyal fans for....some reason?

The press release starts:

And adds:

After having had Baltazar & Pebbles followed by Ramiro & Pebbles on JAM'N, and now realizing the same sequence of these pairings is happening on HOT, can we just get a "radio throwdown" between Baltazar & Ramiro (last man standing-style), with the winner to work with Pebbles?

iHeart wants 'The Breakfast Club' from NY on all it's 'urban' stations. They'll dump the current hosts by the end of the year for 'The Breakfast Club'.

Wiggy will be gone by Sept of 2016 when his contract expires. Most likely going to ESPN/FOX Sports.

2nd Date is fake with Improv Actors.

He's actually funny and tolerable on the air. I don't know what's up with this trend of NJ transplants all over the air, but it'll be nice to get some Boston blood.
