Red Sox poster in Bolivian restaurant

World traveler Valerie Vande Panne checks in from Minuteman Revolutionary Pizza in Uyuni, Bolivia, where she had breakfast this morning.

Owner Chris Sarange is, of course, a Boston native.

of this awesome BBQ joint in San Jose called Henry's Hi-Life. I stopped in on a random weeknight for dinner on a business trip a few years back, and was surprised to find the NESN feed of a Bruins game on at the bar. Turns out the bartender is a Medford native and puts any Boston game on as often as he can. This place is a 5 min walk from the SAP Center, home of the Sharks, which I found kind of amusing.

There's also a Boston bar in SF called the Red Jack, they have a huge Green Monster mural on their back patio.

have bars dedicated to the many other cities.

I know we will get there soon because the non-new england born population of boston is getting larger and the new england born popultion is decreasing.

Go Habs!!

with football, though I guess a dedicated bar and just being a bar for a certain team are kind of different. Regardless, the locations can be surprising...for example, Bleacher Bar is a Bills bar. Yes, a bar that is essentially INSIDE of Fenway park is a "home bar" to a division rival.

I'd love to see some actual bars dedicated to other cities here, especially if they wanted to serve regional food and beers.

When I was on my motorcycle trip around the world I stopped in. Chris was a huge help in getting a flat tire fixed. I left him an extra MA license plate I had for his wall. He and his family are great and I highly recommend the pizza and his hotel!

Also to any of the more laid back fans of baseball or the sox, now is the time to tune in. The sox are DESTROYING the opposition this season and papi is playing like hes 10 years younger. I don't have the exact number but in the last four games I would guess we've put up literally 50 runs. Literally. The scores have been more reminiscent of the early 2000s patriots than baseball.

The guys are all smiles in the dugout but still getting mad when they strikeout. that is DANGEROUS (to the other team), especially when you see a guy chastise himself for striking out when his team is up by 10. I hope it keeps up.

My favorite part is that while our vets are doing great, the younger cast is doing so well too. I could go on forever.

Edit: IMAGE(http://i.imgur.com/TfeCHeb.png) so i looked it up for you all to back up my seemingly hyperbolic statement about the 50 runs. in four games we have put up 51 runs. (14+13+13+11)

Once found a Celtics themed bar in Frankfurt, Germany. The owner was Croatian, and it was during the time when Dino Rada was on the Celtics, so...

Then there is Duleavy's Pub on Sullivan's Island, SC. Celtics banners inside, and this Sox banner. The original owners were from the right side of Connecticut.

At least there was in 2010, the last time I was there. Passing through Central Train Station, I noticed this: IMAGE(https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4147/5015705999_dfaca196fa_b.jpg)

There is one in the Oslo airport...a Boston-themed sports bar. Apparently it's a Swedish-based company with 100 franchises all over Scandinavia as well Hungary, China, Vietnam, and Singapore. The one in Oslo had all sorts of Boston sports memorabilia.

Last year I was in Kyoto and around the corner from my hotel was a bar I noticed called Fenway Park. Of course I had to check it out and I'm glad I did because it was a shrine to everything Red Sox and the owner, Tiger, was a super nice guy.
