Street in front of Brigham and Women's shut due to suspicious bag

UPDATE, 1:10 p.m. Suspicious bag turned out to be full of harmless wires. Streets re-opened.

Francis Street is shut between Brookline Avenue and Binney Street to await the arrival of the bomb squad. Ambulances are being diverted to other hospitals.

I remember my Mom using that phrase when referring to Mrs. Asgardsen across the lane. She was one of those people who kept everyone in the trailer court under constant surveillance.
